While the task at hand is no small feat, Treofan is already beginning to make changes to how we operate in order to improve our position with activities such as:

• Reducing the variety of raw materials used, thus facilitating ease of recycle and reuse of materials during production. The ultimate target is to have no waste plastic production from our factories worldwide with 100% internal recycling.
• Reducing our power consumption through accurate monitoring and goal setting and to actively source where necessary or available, energy sources with a lower impact on the environment. Already one of our factories uses steam from a local power plant as part of its operation.
